Let me just say this. Best donuts(doughnuts) you can get. Very friendly. Perfect example of how you picture a local bakery. Prices are lower than anywhere else in town. We get donuts here every time we visit family here. Thumbs up Janicke!

Delicious and fairly priced. When we are in town, we always stop here in the morning at least once.

Everything is good, but if I could only buy one, the Banana doughnuts are delicious.

Once a year I come up to Grand Rapids, in the spring, for a fishing trip with my MN friends, and have been doing this for many many years. Formerly from MN but now living in CA. Janicke Bakery is always a must stop! Doughnuts, bars, cookies, pies etc., and we get them all. Everything is great and of course we eat more of them than we should. On the last day of my trip I stop by to get blueberry and date bars to take home. Delicious!!Be sure to come early if you want doughnuts since they will get sold out. You can't walk by their window without wanting to go inside.Thank you for the many years of your baking enjoyment you have given so many. Look forward to next year's trip.

Worst doughnuts ever! Most of the doughnuts, especially the Old fashion doughnuts or as they like too call them, cake doughnuts, were crunchy and didn't even seem like there made with sour cream or buttermilk!? The Apple fritters are more like bread and don't seem to have any Apple chunks in them but lots of cinnamon an not to mention all the doughnuts are out in the open air(store front window, that seems pretty unsanitary. For the money, you'll get a better doughnut from your local grocery store. Never again!

Best Donuts in town.

I was very excited to try this bakery because my family has raved about it. Got to this place an hour before said closing (1:30)...doors locked. Not a fan of a business that says they should be open but arent. Hopefully you'll be open when I get to be in town again...

Hands down the best donuts I've ever had. I keep searching for something that can compete now that live in WA but nothing comes close. The banana donuts are the best but everything is good.
